The smallest thing we sell, and often the first.

Rings start at half a gram, which makes them the piece people buy when they are testing whether they trust a shop. We are fine with that — it is exactly how a lot of our long customers started. 18K for stone settings, 22K for plain gold.

Detailed gold work with coloured stone settings at Nakoda Gold, Ambernath East

Choosing between 18K and 22K

22K, 916

More gold, warmer colour, softer metal. Right for plain bands and traditional designs where the gold itself is the point.

18K, 750

Harder, so it holds stones securely. Right for diamond and stone settings, and for a ring worn every single day.

Questions people actually ask

What is the smallest ring you make?

Around half a gram. It is a genuine piece of hallmarked gold, not a token.

Should I choose 18K or 22K for a ring?

For plain gold, 22K. For anything with stones or a ring you will wear every day, 18K — it is harder, so the setting holds and the band wears better.

Can you resize a ring I bought elsewhere?

Usually yes. Bring it in and we will look at it. If resizing would weaken the ring we will tell you that rather than take the job.

Do you engrave?

Yes — names, dates and initials. It is a common request on couple rings.
