The three deductions people get caught by
Melting loss
Commonly deducted elsewhere. We do not deduct it. The weight that tests is the weight we work from.
Stone, meena and colour
Often cut out of the net weight on a bill. We do not deduct these from the net weight when you resell to us.
Purity guesswork
Settled before anything else, by machine, in front of you, at no cost — so the number is not a matter of opinion.
We also give 100% resale value according to the current gold rate on jewellery bought from us. Ask at the counter for today's rate before you commit to anything — we will not publish a number here that might be stale by the time you read it.
