Bridal gold, for the day and every year after.

A complete set here means short necklace, long haram and matching earrings — bought together so the work matches, because mixing two karigars' pieces shows. We do the heavy traditional look and the lightweight version of the same design, and we would rather you saw both before deciding.

The lightweight question

Grand look. Half the gold.

The single most common request we get is a heavy look on a lighter budget, and it is a solvable problem rather than a compromise. A full set — necklace, haram and earrings together — can be built at 25 grams. A mangalsutra design that normally sits at 70–80 grams, we have rebuilt at 50 grams with the same broad face.

The trick is where the gold goes. Hollow sections and broader, flatter faces read as heavy from a foot away, which is the only distance anyone sees it from.

What a bridal order usually looks like

Come in early

Six to eight weeks before the wedding is comfortable for custom work. Closer than that is often still possible — ask rather than assume.

Bring a photo

A screenshot, a family piece, a picture of your mother's set. We work from images all the time and will tell you honestly what changes at what weight.

See it at two weights

We will quote the design you picked and a lighter build of the same look, so the choice is yours rather than ours.

Everything in writing

Metal rate, weight, making charges and GST are itemised before anything is packed. No line appears later that was not on the estimate.

Also worth seeing

Traditional Maharashtrian bridal.

Thushi, saaj, nath and kolhapuri work — the pieces a Maharashtrian bride is actually asked for, which the big chains rarely stock properly. We also bring South Indian karigari in from Coimbatore.

Questions people actually ask

How much gold does a bridal set need?

There is no fixed answer, but for reference: a complete set of short necklace, long haram and earrings can be built at around 25 grams in a lightweight construction, while heavy traditional bridal work runs well past 100 grams. Tell us your budget and we will show you what it buys at both ends.

Can you copy a design from a photo?

Yes, and it is routine. Bring a screenshot or a photograph of a family piece. We will tell you what it costs at the weight shown and what changes if you want it lighter.

How long does a custom bridal set take?

Plan on six to eight weeks to be comfortable. Shorter is often possible depending on the design and the season — ask on WhatsApp rather than assuming it is too late.

Is the whole set hallmarked?

Every piece is, individually. Each carries its own six-digit HUID number, which is unique to that item rather than to the shop, so you can verify it yourself.

Do you take orders from outside Ambernath?

Regularly. Customers come from Badlapur, Ulhasnagar, Kalyan and Dombivli. Start on WhatsApp and come in once for measurements and to see the work in person.
