Kalyan Jewellers is a national chain, and a large showroom has real advantages — depth of stock and a brand-wide buyback policy among them. What it is less set up for is the piece that does not exist yet, which is most of what we do.
What an independent adds
- Made, not picked
- If the design is not in the case, we make it. Six to eight weeks is comfortable for bridal work.
- The lightweight version
- We will quote the design you liked and a lighter build of the same look — a set at 25 grams, a 70–80 gram mangalsutra design rebuilt at 50.
- One counter, one relationship
- The person who sold you a piece is still here when you come back to exchange it. We have customers who first bought in the nineties.
- Stated exchange terms
- Zero melting loss, nothing deducted from net weight for stone, meena or colour.
Compare us on facts, not on signage
We are not going to tell you what any other jeweller charges or how they weigh — their terms are theirs to state and they can change. What we will do is state ours plainly, so you can hold both up against each other yourself.

- 22K 916 and 18K 750, BIS hallmarked, individual HUID on every piece.

- Metal rate, weight, making charges and GST itemised in writing before anything is packed.

- Not deducted.

- Stone, meena and colour not deducted.
